LA NECESIDAD _
Once the apple crushing and pressing process is complete, the resulting must is stored in barrels of varying capacities. From this point, the fermentation process begins, leading to chemical reactions in which temperature control and timely response to variations are essential for a controlled process and an optimal product outcome.
The goal is to implement a monitoring system for temperature control during the fermentation and storage processes prior to bottling. The barrels in which fermentation and storage take place can be made of different materials (wood, polyester, stainless steel) or can be located in different locations within the winery. Therefore, each barrel will have control parameters adapted to its location.

Implementation of our MONITORING service application for monitoring the temperature of cider in barrels, providing early warning of variations, and analyzing its evolution over time.
MONITORING __
- COCKPIT
Panel for displaying the temperature inside each barrel in real time. The reference temperature can be varied depending on the barrel’s construction material and location (ambient temperature). The design of this panel has been customized and adapted to the display specifications.
- ALARMS
Panel for recording temperature variation alarms. Real-time incident detection emails. Alarm engine configurable by the customer based on process variables.
- ANALYSIS CHART
Graphic display of the temperature readings for each barrel.
Additionally, the option of having a digital monitoring and control system for barrel maintenance and periodic inspections of the installation is offered.
